The G20 Forum for Climate Solutions is a truly inspiring event, held annually in the country hosting the G20 summit.
It serves as one of the key activities of the international F20 Foundation Platform, which focuses on environmental and climate protection worldwide.
Invited by the Wilo Foundation, representatives from Enactus South Africa, including the CEO and Country Director, had the privilege of attending this prestigious forum. They were deeply impressed by the inspirational presentations and innovative enterprises showcased by our teams from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). Both teams are semifinalists in this year’s Schneider Electric Battery Efficiency Challenge.
These remarkable teams, composed predominantly of engineering students, demonstrate a powerful commitment to changing the world through their knowledge and innovation. Their work embodies the spirit of sustainable development and highlights the impact young changemakers can have on tackling global climate challenges.
