Drip Tailors is a youth-led social enterprise owned by Enactus University of the Witwatersrand students, the Enactus South Africa National Champions.

The enterprise tackles the dual challenges of textile waste and youth unemployment by upcycling discarded clothing, offering affordable tailoring services, running a practical academy for unemployed youth, and providing an online platform for local designers. In its first year, Drip Tailors trained 23 young people, served over 140 customers, and generated more than R25,000 in revenue while diverting significant amounts of clothing from landfills. Through its circular profit-sharing model with students and thrift sellers, the enterprise has rescued over 500 clothing items, equivalent to 0.5 tons empowering unemployed youth with tailoring and business skills and promoting a more sustainable and inclusive fashion economy. The project also achieved recognition by making it into the top 16 in its category at the Enactus World Cup 2025.
